There are libraries available for several unfolding components consisting of a single part or of assemblies, connections and transitions. They can be expanded to accommodate as many of your own parametric components as you like.

New: SPI Data editor

With the help of the SPI SheetMetal Data Editor technology data are defined depending on material and tools respectively tool groups. The manner of the shortening that is to be determined in the calculation of the flat pattern, is defined by setting appropriate parameters. Used formulas and tables are also maintained in the SheetMetal Data Editor. The stored measured values and formulas are considered during the design and the technological processing. The philosophy of the SPI approach seems as simple as obvious: knowing the defining conditions, organise recurring parameters, maintain the relevant data clearly and efficiently and eliminate possible incorrect approaches at an early stage in order to get grips on costs and time. Resources thus saved are tremendous.
