Library of Components
for SPI SheetMetal.
Available at all times...
Frequently used components - just pick them up, define the desired parameters and insert it into your design. There is no better way to safe time and money... The SPI Component Manager puts an extensive library of standard construction units to your disposal. It supports you with the arbitrary design of standard parts, connectors, flanges, transitions, rectangles and heads. It gives you accurate results for filleted and sharp-cornered sheet metal parts. Regarding the ready-to-manufacture background information of the used bending and forming tools as well as the thickness and other material data makes design faultless, fast and easy.
Just select a component from the clearly laid out catalogue with a click of your mouse, and get the corresponding parameters in a detailed preview. Choose one of the parameters and modify it to your demand. At the push of a button the complete component is built and is appended to your SOLIDWORKS or Inventor sheet metal assembly. The default delivery consists of about 40 components and is graded up with every new release. Beneath that you can build up your own components and store them for later work. The delivered library of the SheetMetal Component Manager provides you with numerous ready-to-use components e. g. standard parts, heads, transitions, connectors, flanges and rectangles.
Enhance your library. Define your own components, and use them as often as you like...
Add your own designs to the SheetMetal Component Manager‘s library as self defined components. You may even define new categories (example "control box"). As soon as you use your once defined and stored parts again, you get a preview with the defined parameters that you can modify and customize to the current demands. At the push of a button you get the new part with new dimesions and can insert it to your assembly.
The SPI Component Manager is available both for SPI SheetMetalWorks and SPI SheetMetal Inventor and is - in both cases - a part of the complete solution at no extra costs.
